DESCRIPTION:Muriel Anderson performs on a 20-string harp-guitar and her facility across multiple genres\, combined with gentle sense of humor\, is revered by audiences and guitarists worldwide. She is the first woman to win the National Fingerstyle Guitar Championship. Guitar Player Magazine lists her as one of the top 50 guitarists of all time and she has recently been listed among the top ten female guitarists\, yet it will be her uplifting songs and compositions that will be her lasting legacy. Muriel’s multimedia show brings you on a planetary tour of tastes\, images\, and music with a backdrop of stunning visuals by photo-artist Bryan Allen.\nShe has recorded with country legend Chet Atkins\, performed with Les Paul and countless other greats in “Muriel Anderson’s All Star Guitar Night®” over the past 30+ years. Muriel’s CD Nightlight Daylight placed first in its category in 11 national awards\, followed by Acoustic Chef\, an international CD with cookbook. In addition to his ACMA participation Bill finds time to play amazing music at venues around the county and the state. “In his own words: have been playing guitar and singing for nearly fifty years now. I Started with American Folk and Blues tunes and finger- style guitar. Had a run in with a Classic Rock band for 6 years or so and I sure was glad when that ended. I spent 15 years playing in nursing homes doing standards from the 30’s and 40’s. Now I mostly write. You will see a bit of all the above in my songs.
