At the heart of his music is storytelling\, bringing deeply human characters to life with honesty\, wit\, and soul.\nA multiple Blues Music Award winner\, MacLeod previously earned 2024 Acoustic Album of the Year (Raw Blues 1) and 2023 Acoustic Artist of the Year honors\, along with additional nominations in 2025. His albums A Soul to Claim(produced by Jim Gaines) and Between Somewhere and Goodbye (produced by Andreas Werner) were named DownBeatMagazine Albums of the Year in 2022 and 2025\nWith a career spanning more than 40 years and 29 albums\, MacLeod has worked alongside blues legends including George “Harmonica” Smith\, Big Joe Turner\, Big Mama Thornton\, Lowell Fulson\, and Pee Wee Crayton.
