DESCRIPTION:Ryan Biter is the aimless\, eccentric\, tactless kid you went to school with growing up that you always kind of wondered what happened to after high school.\nWith equal measures of irreverence\, sharp insight\, and vulnerability\, Biter invites audiences to be open to our profound humanness. Weird\, wonderful\, and flawed.\nThink of him like a guitar slinging Mr. Rogers for messed up adults.\nThe grit\, soul\, and raw emotion of his voice has drawn comparisons to Chris Stapleton\, Amos Lee\, Teddy Swims\, and Martin Sexton. His songwriting is incisive yet free of pretence. Catchy but thoughtful. Rootsy but Radio Ready.\nHis expansive guitar playing tells epic stories and has been compared to players like Tommy Emmanuel\, Michael Hedges\, John Butler\, Newton Faulkner\, and James Taylor.\nBiter has been described as “A One Man Musical Force” with a singular focus.\nSince 2022\, Biter has been racking up the awards. Bill was born in Muskegon\, Michigan\, then moved to Tampa at age 11. Not too long after he got a guitar and the Alan Lomax book of 317 folk songs. A few years later his friend Joe showed him how to play something called “Travis” style. Later on Merle Travis DENIED having anything to do with how Bill plays guitar!\nOh\, well…Some years later Bill moved to Fort Myers\, joined the ACMA\, and started writing and singing songs. Bill won the Bob Dylan look alike contest at our recent Bob Night! And was the stand out that night for playing the least known Dylan songs.
