ACMA Songwriters Showcase at The Collaboratory

The ACMA is excited to present these FREE public concerts in a beautiful setting at The Collaboratory in downtown Fort Myers!
The Collaboratory has partnered with the ACMA to bring you a special songwriter showcase featuring all-original music by talented local musicians. Each concert features three artists sharing their songs, the stories behind them, and the experiences that inspired them—much like the Island Hopper Songwriter Fest or Nashville’s legendary Bluebird Café.
Expect a fun evening of professional-quality Americana music, blending blues, roots, folk, bluegrass, and country.
Bring a chair or blanket and enjoy an evening under the stars.
Shows will move indoors if needed.
The ACMA, a Fort Myers-based nonprofit, is dedicated to supporting and promoting original music.

Meet the three featured songwriters below!
Kim Mayfield is also known as half of the Americana duo ‘Reckless Saints,’ (with husband Roy Schneider,) and shared in the songwriting for their first two albums. Mayfield’s song ‘Ring Around the Moon’, described by a reviewer as “haunted by Patsy Cline,” earned a semi-finalist spot in the 2019 International Songwriting Competition. Reckless Saints were finalists in the 2025 Kerrville New Folk competition. https://www.recklesssaints.com
Ralph Leesburg has been making music for more than 50 years but it has only been the last 20 that he has set intentions on positive music. A little folksy, a little rootsy, a little bluesy, a little bit of rock’n’roll. And something he likes to call Metaphysical Country. He really likes sharing the vibe and hopes to leave you smiling.
Steve Waterbury. Steve has been playing, singing and writing music off and on since the later 70’s. His music is eclectic, from some Country to Blues and Folk, reflecting his life observations and experience.
