Feed Florida is a monthly ACMA sponsored event raising money for our local food bank. The last Monday of each month will feature a different musical guest with all proceeds going directly to the Harry Chapin Food Bank of Southwest Florida.
Hosting the series is ACMA member Kim Mayfield.
This week our featured act is Drew Dintzner.
D. A. Dintzner (Drew) is a founding member of the ACMA. He has been playing guitar and writing songs since the mid-70’s, and his Pop/Folk style has been influenced by the likes of J.D. Souther, Dan Fogelberg, Shawn Colvin, Cheryl Wheeler and Marc Cohn, using internal rhyming and focused on the synergy between music and lyric.
In 1998, D. A. recorded a solo album in Nashville,entitled “The Writer Within”, featuring producer/musician Kerry Ford and multi-award winning violinist Tim Lorsch.
Drew lives in North Fort Myers with his 8 lb chocolate chihuahua, Lady Vancouver (LV). She’s the best audience EVER.
