FOLKS (Friends of Lovers Key, Inc.) www.friendsofloverskey.org has joined with The ACMA (Americana Community Music Association), www.americanacma.org, to offer free Acoustic concerts of all original music. The concerts will take place in the large gazebo located right on the beach. Seating is available for the first 80 people. Additional seating is also available on the sand.

The ACMA is a Fort Myers based organization that promotes local artists who write and sing their own original songs. Come hear great original music and the stories behind the songs in an intimate Songwriters Showcase. The show will finish with a fabulous Lovers Key Sunset.

J.Robert – Florida Fiddler and Songwriter
For more than 25 years, J.Robert has been a SW Florida premier “Florida Music” artist – creator of the “Florida Songwriter Showcase” and regular performer at the Florida Folk Festival, local charity events, hotels, and corporate events.
JRobert has played music with and warmed up for Bonnie Raitt, Charlie Daniels, Doug Kershaw, Clint Black, Tracy Lawrence, Willie Nelson, David Allen Coe…and has recorded with John McEuen from Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, as well as Nashville fiddler Vassar Clements.
J.Robert presently resides in Marco Island, Florida, where he plays his “Caribbean Country” style of music to people from all over the world. J.Robert has toured with “Living Legend” Seminole Indian Chief Jim Billie and occasional Swiss, Great Britain, or Central Asia excursions with International Recording Artist Brent Moyer.
J.Robert has released 6 albums of music over his career, which includes placements on shows such as “Big Bang Theory” “Madame Secretary” …and has produced all original music scores for 3 PBS films including “The Great Florida Cattle Drive” “Southwest Florida’s Mangrove Coast” “Peter Gerbert – Florida Wildlife Artist”
