ACMA is sponsoring this weekly event to raise money for the Harry Chapin Food Bank of Fort Myers. Each Monday will feature a different musical guest. All proceeds go directly to the Harry Chapin Food Bank of Southwest Florida.

This week our featured act is Bill Veach. Bill was originally a drummer, but the road and drums do not easily mix, so he spent $100 of his precious beer money on a guitar that he has dragged around the world and back again. His style is as varied as his experiences, so there are songs about travel, people he has met and the stories they told, and songs inspired by the isolation of the pandemic. Bill plays at cafes and charity events around Ft. Myers Beach, often with the Pearl Street Band. Songs from his recent CDs ’Backpacking Around the World,’ “Jimmy,’ and ‘Fort Myers Beach’ are available at billveach.com and reverberation. Bill is excited to support the Harry Chapin Food Bank, one of the many organizations where he has volunteered, and will match donations made during the show!
